KATE EMILY FERGUSON
MY BUSINESS CARD & BRAND IDENTITY
This is the final design of both my brand identity and my business card, which can also be seen to feature the design of my brand identity. My business card has been inspired by an array of creative contexts including the work of Fred Butler, my own life drawings of a female figure, manipulations that I created through photoshop and other set designers including Bela Borsodi, Lord Whitney and Janine Pedan alongside, visual merchandise inspiration from Bergdorf Goodman's window display for Chanel. In terms of my type, I also took great influence from McQ Alexander McQueen's Fall 2015 Campaign. These influences can all be viewed in my 'Design Development' mood-board.

COLOUR PALETTE
A lot my my visual inspiration for my colour palette was influenced by artists such as Marguerite Humeau and her 'FOXP2' exhibition, Bauhaus artist Josef Alber and the interior decor of Sketch London. However, after experimentation I darkened the pink tone to fit an aesthetic that was more of an accurate reflection of visual tastes.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT MOOD-BOARD FOR SELF-PROMOTION
Throughout the development of my self-promotion work, I also admired the creation of a relationship between the text and the hangers that Fred Butler had represented in his Cube PR Invite from 2008. This correlation between type and objects was highly influential when it came to the creative context behind my final brand identity.
