SECOND SKIN SCENT 'WORK IT OUT'

During my final module of first year of 'Fashion Communication and Promotion', in groups we were set the task of creating a fragrance that would fill the gap in the current scent market. Our brand 'Second Skin Scent', created a fragrance called 'Work It Out' which offered an alternative product to deodorant for women to use whilst they exercised. Targeting women between the age of 18-30, our scent was a swallowable product in the form of a capsule that would enable women to excrete a fresh scent from their skin during perspiration. Our initial concept was to make women feel more confident about themselves whilst they exercised due to the growing studies that women were feeling more self-conscious and uncomfortable whilst they worked out due to the fear of bad odor and perspiration.
